Fine Art Canvas
Did you know that Joanna Taylor Photography offers fine art canvas? I simply LOVE it for the important portraits in your home. It can turn a regular picture into a timeless piece of art. I've ordered them as large as 30x40 in the past with great success.
I was giddy to get a great deal to try these out from a new supplier, and I'm very pleased with what I received.
These come ready to hang (no need for a frame) and include protection bumpers on the corner to keep your walls scratch free. Here is an example of a 16x20 I just got back, and I'm so in love with it!

News! Glorious news!!
I know, I know (hanging head in shame), you thought the day would never come. It's been a year! I've been promising and teasing for so long! I might even be dubbed the one who cried wolf. I do deserve that.
And as kind and patient as you've been, I know you've noticed...I've heard you say it.
But, my loyal viewers, get ready to pump your fists in the air, because I have some HUGE news!
At long last, my website is UP AND RUNNING. That's right.
It's got a whole new look and I'm so excited. It's okay, you can get excited too. And, I want you to share the news!!! Just to prove it,
That's right, 1 free session fee to two separate people, and I'll even throw in 30% off digital collections, or 20% off al-a-carte purchases.
How do you get this free session? Well, it's easy. Here are the rules of the contest:
Publish a BLOG entry on your blog with a link to MY blog or website, say something great about me (I'm sure you can find something) and email me the link (email: joannataylorphotography at gmail dot com). The session must be held by the end of May. I will randomly draw two names for the free sessions.

Spring Special
It's that time again!! Time for my spring special. Now I have to tell you first how excited I am. I've been doing a lot of thinking over the winter about my business this year, what my clients have been asking for, and what is going on in the economy. My lab recently sent out their new pricing on prints, and as usual, prices have increased on the back-end. Of course that typically means an increase on the front-end too, but I realize that this is not necessarily feasible for all of my clients. Therefore I have completely restructured my pricing concept. And I'm so excited about it, because I am bringing together the best of both worlds:
prints and digital images!!
You read that right. My packages are now full of digital images plus a print of each image (digital and print images must be the same image, digital images printable only to 11x14). You just pick the price that is right for you, and you'll get that number of images. Of course I'm still offering enlargements as well, but check out the link on my sidebar for my new pricing! I hope you are as excited as I am.
Now for the spring special...
Book a session in March, get 30% off digital package pricing
Book a session in April, get 20% off digital package pricing
Book a session in May, get 10% off digital package pricing
Hurry, I have a limited number of sessions available each month! As a reminder, I will be closed in June and July, so make sure to get in early!

We are in Recovery!
I just wanted to get on and give you all a quick update on the surgery. Everything went really well. The staff at PCMC was wonderful and helpful and really kept everything rolling. We expected to sit around for long periods of time in between everything, but it wasn't that way at all. We were very appreciative (and it helped calm our nerves too).
The surgery went as well as we could have hoped. The cyst was quite a bit deeper than what the doctor anticipated, so the doctor had to dig into the tissue further than expected; but the good news was that it came out as cleanly as he'd hoped and it wasn't attached to anything else. She tolerated the surgery and anesthesia well. It was so interesting watching her come out of anesthesia. Initially she was very sweet, and then got very angry, but mostly because she did not like the IV in her ankle. Once they removed that she calmed down pretty quickly, but continued to be a bit volatile for the next few hours. She also struggled maintaining her balance for a good while.
Her recovery so far is going well. She complains that it hurts from time to time, but she's generally returned to her normal disposition and we're happy that she's doing so well.
I want to extend a BIG thank you to all of you for your sweet comments, emails and phone calls. Your prayers, thoughts, and words of support have been felt and touched my heart! Thank you so much!
And here are just a couple more pictures of my little princess.
