Dream | Utah Family Photographer

I love when things seem to come together in ways that seem to be beyond coincidence. There have been so many experiences in my own life that just leave me feeling loved and fulfilled; that make me feel a higher power in my life. Sometimes circumstances just naturally fall together, and it's those times I treasure.

This session was one of those times.

I ran into Heather's mom just over a year ago and she told me about the heartaches Heather was suffering, and the strength she was finding to overcome them. I remember how distinctly her story weighed on my heart, and was amazed at how often the thoughts came back to me. Over and over I heard similar stories from friends and was reminded of Heather. When I found her on Facebook I was ecstatic. I got to catch up on all she'd been doing over the last year to continue to build a strong foundation for herself and for her girls and was continually impressed with her ability to overcome.

I wanted to give Heather an incredible session that showed her strength and her love. This location is peaceful and powerful and I felt it perfectly described what she's gone through: the climb up the hill of life, the triumph she is finding at the top of her mountain, the peace and beauty she is discovering in herself and in life.

Why do I have such a hard time narrowing down my favorites? Be sure to watch her slide show at the end.
