Sweet couple

Went out yesterday morning and took some pics of this sweet couple. It's fun to sit back and do adults sometimes--the session goes so much faster :) It was great getting to know them and they were so in love. Here's a sneak peek! I hope you like 'em "A" and "J". I'll get them to you in the next couple of days!

eta: looking at them on here I can see I need to brighten that first one more:) It will be taken care of before I put your album together!

We finally met

...and I had camera problems! Seriously, this family had to reschedule their session I don't know how many times, and then when they were good and ready I went and got sick on them. Then we FINALLY had their session and I bring the camera home to load the pictures and for some reason my camera wasn't focusing. Oh! I was ready to pull my hair out. "K" was so good about it and we are going to reschedule another fun fall session, which I can't wait to do. They were so nice, and it was so fun chatting with them and their boys are such great, energetic, beautiful (handsome;) boys! I will be so happy to get this problem fixed. But, since I've been a slacker on the blog this week, I thought I'd go ahead and share a couple of the pics we DID get!

My lil' sis!

This is my sister and her great little family. Isn't she just beautiful? I've also decided that I might have to steal this shirt from her for my own family pictures (whenever I get around to those). I love how the color photographs:)

Sneak Peak

Just a quick sneak peak! "K" is all gums these days! She's lost two front teeth (and the 2nd one on the morning of the photoshoot!!). I hope to have the rest of these done for you in a couple of days:) Thanks for bearing the heat!

One year

My baby girl turned one on Saturday. I can hardly believe it!!! This last year has just flown. I started finally learning about photography (all the technical stuff) just after she was born--rather than just playing around with the camera and pretending like I was good (I soooo wasn't, lol). I still have a long way to go, but in CELEBRATION of her birthday and my learning, I'm going to give away a free session plus a free 11x14 to the first person to email me through my website (family does not apply). But you must mention you saw this on my blog!!!

Another Family

My sweet neighbors asked me to do their family photos and some more of their daughter for her upcoming birthday. It was great, and I couldn't believe how amazing their daughter was at posing for me:) ...And so photogenic too. Every time I opened and processed a picture of her I kept saying outloud, "She's just so cute!!!" Her little brother "J" was not quite as happy with me for taking pictures ;P

and I've decided I love these feet ones because the toddler NEVER want to do them and I get some of the funnest shots of the parents trying to get them to come over...but really, they just want to do their own thing:)
