Is this thing on?
Is anyone out there?
It's been a while. I know. Call me terrible. It's true, I am. I am a terrible blogger.
See, I closed my doors for business, and as much as I LOVED my amazing, beautiful, supportive, loving clients...I knew it was the right thing at the time.
And it was.
I am a mom.
I am a photographer, but before that, I am a mom.
And my kids needed me.
So I put down my camera, and you know what happened?
I STOPPED TAKING PICTURES.
(sigh)
It probably killed me a little more than it killed you.
But it happened.
I sold my camera. I bought another. I hated it. I sold it. I bought a film camera. I never used it.
Long story short...I'm picking my camera back up (the one that I started learning on, since it's the only one I have left).
(Did you hear the imaginary crowd roaring? Yeah, me neither....)
Anyway, I took my little cutie patootie out to take some pictures a bit ago, and here are the results. I'm super rusty, but I hope you enjoy!
P.S. I am currently learning to shoot film. Yep, for realsies this time...so maybe soon I will get to share my triumphs with you (here's to positive thinking).
