Fall Specials!

I can't believe how quickly summer passed. Now we are getting ready for back to school (and some of you are already there!) and getting serious about schedules and life again. I see my own kids growing so fast and reaching new milestones in their lives. These are moments that I will never get back, and though it saddens me, I look forward to these new important stages in their lives that I will, hopefully, help them navigate with success.

Along with back-to-school comes the fall season, my favorite! I love the smell of the cool air, the colors of leaves as they change, and the warmth of sweaters and hot cider. I also love fall pictures! They make a great Holiday gift for family members, holiday cards to send to friends, and a great way to get custom back to school portraits of your little ones. I look back with fond memories of my own family pictures growing up. We laugh about how we looked, or smile about the memories made during the sessions.

And I want you to have great memories too! I have a many options for you to choose from this fall, to help you save a buck, and get some incredible pictures.

First, if you are interested in earning a free session and free prints/packages, check out my Portrait Parties here. Hostesses earn a free session and 10% of sales, and you get to entice your friends and family with a deeply discounted session and deeply discounted prints. Sessions can be held at your home, a local park, up one of the canyons, or at my studio. Portrait parties are perfect for custom back-to-school portraits of your children, quick family portraits, a girls night out, and more! Contact me for more information.

If you'd prefer just to schedule your own custom portrait session instead, I have some great deals for you too!

Dream | Utah Family Photographer

I love when things seem to come together in ways that seem to be beyond coincidence. There have been so many experiences in my own life that just leave me feeling loved and fulfilled; that make me feel a higher power in my life. Sometimes circumstances just naturally fall together, and it's those times I treasure.

This session was one of those times.

I ran into Heather's mom just over a year ago and she told me about the heartaches Heather was suffering, and the strength she was finding to overcome them. I remember how distinctly her story weighed on my heart, and was amazed at how often the thoughts came back to me. Over and over I heard similar stories from friends and was reminded of Heather. When I found her on Facebook I was ecstatic. I got to catch up on all she'd been doing over the last year to continue to build a strong foundation for herself and for her girls and was continually impressed with her ability to overcome.

I wanted to give Heather an incredible session that showed her strength and her love. This location is peaceful and powerful and I felt it perfectly described what she's gone through: the climb up the hill of life, the triumph she is finding at the top of her mountain, the peace and beauty she is discovering in herself and in life.

Why do I have such a hard time narrowing down my favorites? Be sure to watch her slide show at the end.

As promised... | Utah Family Photographer

If I didn't already mention it (but I'm sure I did), we had SO MUCH FUN at this session. As promised, here are some of my favorite stills from the water balloon fight.

Heather and girls part II

I'm trying out a new slideshow program, and I thought Heather's shoot would be a fun one to play around with. So here are some of the photos taken at their session. I'll share some of my favorite stills soon.

And of course as I was listening to the music below I loved how it went with the photos, so the music is provided courtesy Youtube.

Almost Ready

The water balloon pics are nearly ready, but to keep you groovin' in the meantime, here's a fun little ditty.
